The Inter-Agency Committee
The Inter-Agency Committee was formed in 1998 and meets once a year at Archbishop’s House. It is very much a co-ordinating body of all those agencies in the Diocese with a hand in formation, and a place for the sharing of ideas and plans. There is a focus particularly on how these agencies can be of service to priests.
With the existence of so many agencies, there can be a danger of overlap or omission, and the Committee exists to ensure that the agencies, in any provision for priests, complement rather than compete – co-ordinate rather than duplicate.
The Inter-Agency Committee is chaired by the Director of Ongoing Formation and comprises representatives from the following agencies:
